Hemochromatosis is the most prevalent genetic disorder in the United States. This presentation provides an easy-to-understand approach to underwriting that highlights genetic combinations and morbidity and mortality risks. It will include a general overview (definition, clinical presentation, diagnosis, treatment) followed by a case presentation which emphasizes the important prognostic factors for assessment.
