Craig Davidson, MD, DBIM, CLU ® and Joel Larson, FALU, CLU ®, FLMI, MBA

Several medical conditions that are present in childhood may have lasting effects into adulthood. A condition like juvenile cancer may present the underwriter with challenges many years after the initial diagnosis and treatment. The presenters will utilize a case study approach in exploring various childhood diseases and the potential ongoing effects later in life. Additional discussion will focus on how to evaluate these conditions from an underwriting perspective along with new and innovative approaches to treatment.
