This presentation will focus on emerging trends in the diagnosis of Mild
Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer's Dementia. Initial focus will
be placed on benefits and pitfalls of various screening tools utilized for
MCI. The discussion will include the factors predictive of progression
to Alzheimer's Dementia. The session concludes with an overview of
cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers and new imaging modalities which
will increasingly find their place in the underwriting landscape.
