Mortality Trends with Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease is an increasingly important cause of morbidity and mortality in the elderly. This session will explore various AD issues, including how imaging biomarkers can be used for early diagnosis and progression monitoring of AD, the effect of current therapies on AD incidence and death rates, challenges with quantifying AD death rate trends and how these rates might be expected to change with future treatments.
