Carriers are searching for every opportunity to drive growth, improve the
customer experience, and accelerate the underwriting process. A key
element in this process is identifying and protecting against those with
"smoker's amnesia." In this session, we'll discuss the current landscape
of tobacco non-disclosure and misrepresentation, the additional risk that
accelerated underwriting introduces, the mortality and adverse selection
considerations, and the tools and resources available to combat and mitigate
its risk in this new underwriting paradigm.
