Coronary Calcium Scores and the Cardiac CTA are newer tools that
underwriters and Medical Directors can use to their advantage in terms
of mortality prediction in the complex cases on the spectrum or coronary
artery disease that presents to the insurance underwriting world. In this
session, the presenter will describe some useful basics, review the pros
and cons of the studies, and compare this tool to others in the overall
assessment of a CAD risk.
